Austin Hoyt had a long career at WGBH Boston primarily devoted to producing, directing and writing historical documentaries and biographies for PBS.
He retired to S. Dartmouth, MA with his wife Felicity where in 2011 he published Bill Levitt in his Own Words, an oral history of the owner of the Alta Lodge in Utah.
He is currently finishing The Haunting Valley of the South Nahanni, the story of his adventures on Canada’s fabled river and an exploration of some of its mysteries.
